Breakfast Muffins

Today I tried these "French Toast Muffins" that I found on pinterest. The kids really wanted me to give them a try so I decided to make them for breakfast. Halfway through, I realized that I made these same muffins a few months ago, but they were called something else.

My children really like these, but I'm going to guess that it's because of the cinnamon and sugar on the outside. The actual muffin itself is very very heavy and not very flavorful. These in no way taste anything like french toast to me. I just really don't like them very much. Just like the first time I made them.
